World Bank Innovation Program continues strong

The second phase of the Fostering Productive Innovation Program, a $110 million project between the Ministry of Science and Education in Kazakhstan and the World Bank, continues to make strides in strengthening the innovation ecosystem in the country.  ACIR Director Erik Azulay chairs the International Science and Commercialization Board, which oversees the program and advises the World Bank and Ministry on best practices for establishing industry-academia consortia, innovation grant programs, tech transfer policies and the creation of a national venture fund.  For more information on the FPIP program and how ACIR can provide similar services, send us an email at
